Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board
John Iffland: Mr. Iffland, who is a retired U.S. Air Force Brigadier General, joined TSG in February, 2005 as member of the Board of Directors. In April, 2009 General Iffland became the CEO and in May, 2011 became the Chairman of the board. His focus will remain on rapidly expanding into new markets with complimentary service and software offerings, growing the company’s current base of GIS, technical services and digital imaging software, while continuing to broaden the corporate structure and developing and recruiting Senior Executive and Professional staff.
Executive level experience includes Vice President, International, with Argon ST where he developed new businesses in physical security and related programs while also establishing a branch of the company in the Middle East. Prior, he was Chairman of the Board and COO of Coherent Systems International, responsible for establishing a new corporate structure and processes for the rapidly growing company while developing new businesses and service offerings. Corporate revenues were doubled in eighteen months prior to being acquired by Argon ST in 2007. In his final military assignment, General Iffland was the Homeland Security Advisor to the Director, Air National Guard. General Iffland possesses a BS from California State University and a MA from Central Michigan University.
Chief Strategy Officer and Executive Vice President Business Development
Dianna Granum: Ms. Granum has experience and a proven track record of growing business organically and through strategic initiatives. Ms. Granum possesses direct industry executive management experience in addition to experience growing technology and software companies. Ms. Granum recently held the position of Senior Vice President/General Manager of CAE USA Professional Services. CAE is a large business with revenues exceeding $1.5B providing simulation and modeling technologies and integrated training solutions for the civil aviation industry and defense forces around the globe. Prior to her position at CAE, Granum held the position of Vice President of Business Development for Cubic Defense Applications. Cubic is the world leader in live combat training systems and employees over 7000 people worldwide. Prior to Cubic, Granum was employed for over 10 years by Applied Data Technology Inc. (ADTI) providing software and hardware solutions for the U.S. military. Ms. Granum also served four years in the U.S. Navy. Awards include Tribute to Women in Industry (TWIN) Woman of the Year Award 2006.
Business Group Leadership
Dan O’Neill, Senior Vice President Risk Management: Mr. O’Neill has 20 years of military and security industry experience and has been the principal in charge of over 100 security consulting engagements. Mr. O'Neill possesses extensive risk management, emergency response, counter terrorism and suicide bomber prevention experience. He is an author of several well-respected works on Risk Management and Threat Assessment. Mr. O'Neill is a former Captain, US Army, is an Honor Graduate from U.S. Army Ranger School and was a recipient of the Douglas MacArthur Leadership Award. Mr. O'Neill holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BS from Northeastern University.
Bob Gustafson, Senior Vice President Technical & Consulting Services: Mr. Gustafson has over 25 years of professional experience in systems and software engineering, cyber security, and DoD test and training range systems. He held previous positions as a software engineer, program manager of large DoD projects, and corporate executive. Mr. Gustafson earned his Doctorate degree in Strategic Management from Alliant International University, an MBA from Chapman University, and Bachelor’s degrees in Computer Science from San Diego State University and Business Administration from University of Maryland. Mr. Gustafson was previously awarded the Small Business Person of the Year award by the Small Business Administration. He serves his community as a Reserve Deputy and First Responder for the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department in both Law Enforcement and Search and Rescue (SAR).
Kelly Mundell, Vice President Digital Mapping: Mr. Mundell has been with TSG Solutions' site visualization and digital mapping program since 2003. As a veteran of TSG Solutions, Mr. Mundell provides the overall program management and leadership to deliver the highest quality services and solutions on-time and within budget. Mr. Mundell attended California State University, San Marcos, CA.
